Kevin — Egg Kevin's House
Who he is before the fire, who he is after twenty years, and which boards keep him alive.
Kevin is the reason the Roblox listing is named Egg Kevin’s House. He is not the player. He is the classmate Billy decides to punish, the son of Margaret, and — on every file that lets the fire finish — the adult who restages that fire in the Fun Dungeon. If you only met him as a yellow smile with broken glasses, this page is the through-line.
Sibling cast: Billy, Sam, Steven. Boards: all endings.
Appearance and tells
Child Kevin is the school “nerd” Billy resents. Adult Kevin keeps the yellow Robloxian skin the rest of the cast uses, then breaks the silhouette: dirty rust-blue shirt, navy pants, overgrown hair, glasses taped at the bridge, a face that does not bother to perform friendliness. TinyTales’ Discord has joked about a father figure; nothing in the playable nights makes that joke mechanically relevant. What matters is the tape on the glasses and the candle in his hand.
What Billy did to him
Billy stuck gum in Kevin’s hair, got in trouble, and brought Sam to egg the house. An egg hits a windowsill candle. Margaret cannot get out. That scream is Kevin’s origin. He finds a gum packet outside later and treats it as a signature. Whether you personally threw an egg only changes some hospital logic (Rescued versus Perished). Kevin’s grief does not need you to be a good shot.
If you stop the prank with a rock, Inadvertent Hero, Kevin never receives this origin. If you pull Margaret out, Future Firefighter, he never becomes the dungeon voice. Those two files are how you “protect” him without ever holding his knife-end of the scene.
Adult Kevin in the basement
Twenty years later he uses Steven as bait, knocks Sam and Billy out, and explains the math he has had decades to rehearse. Then he lights the Fun Dungeon. This is not a stealth boss. There is no health bar. You cut ropes and you either throw a knife or you do not. Team Kevin and Pacifist leave him alive; he promises the story is unfinished. Warmonger and Team Billy end him in the yard. ??? requires him alive so Steven’s door can open — secret ending.
On Rescued, if Sam did not help egg, Kevin performs a rescue of his own and leaves a tape: the monster (Billy) is gone, do not look for me. That is the closest the game comes to writing him as a guardian, and it still leaves Billy to burn.
Allies and enemies (route-dependent)
Community wikis list Sam as acquaintance on Pacifist, Team Kevin, Rescued, Inadvertent Hero, and ???; as enemy on Perished, Warmonger, and Team Billy. Billy is always the mother’s killer in Kevin’s script. Steven is a hostage, not a rival. Margaret is the relative the whole machine turns on.
How to use this page while playing
If you are about to throw the knife, ask whether you still need ??? on this file. If you are about to spare him, ask whether Billy is already free. The ending path tool is the checklist. Rank how you feel about Kevin’s boards on the endings tier list. First-time players should not start with Warmonger just because the title has his name; start with getting started.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for endings, badges, and first-run choices.
Is Kevin the villain?
On basement files, yes: he kidnaps and burns. On Firefighter and Inadvertent Hero, the villainy never starts. Context: all endings.
Can I save Kevin and Margaret on one file?
Saving Margaret is Firefighter, which prevents adult Kevin's plot. You cannot stack that with a spare-Kevin basement on the same save.
Why does he kidnap Steven?
Bait. Headphones pull Sam and Billy downstairs. Steven's own page: Steven.
Does killing Kevin block ????
Yes. Spare him after you save Billy and hold five fragments.
